Sasha Boskovic


High Performance Coach

Sasha Boskovic is an accomplished tennis professional with extensive experience in high-performance player development, program leadership, and competitive coaching.

Sasha’s tennis career includes competing at the collegiate level for the College of the Desert in California, where he was part of a State Championship - winning team. His experience as a competitive player helped shape a coaching philosophy focused on strong technical foundations, tactical awareness, discipline, and long-term athlete development.

Following his playing career, Sasha established himself as a leader in high-performance tennis in British Columbia. He spent seven years as High Performance Director at the Arbutus Club, where he developed and led competitive programming for aspiring junior athletes.

Sasha then served for three years as High Performance Director at UBC, where the program became one of the strongest high-performance development programs in Western Canada. During his tenure, UBC was recognized as the top program per capita in Western Canada for the number of high-performance players progressing into competitive tournament play. Sasha also coached the UBC Women’s Varsity Tennis Team, further expanding his experience in university-level team coaching and competition.

For the past seven years, Sasha has served as High Performance Director at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club. Throughout his coaching career, he has overseen the development of multiple Provincial and National Champions, as well as athletes competing at the ITF level. His programs have supported players progressing through provincial, national, international, and collegiate competitive pathways.

With decades of experience in competitive tennis, Sasha brings a combination of playing experience, technical expertise, athlete development, program leadership, and competitive coaching to his role. His approach emphasizes developing complete athletes—building technical and tactical ability alongside confidence, discipline, resilience, and a strong competitive mindset.

Sasha is also continuing to advance his professional coaching credentials and is currently completing his Club Pro 3 designation, with completion anticipated in November.
