Introducing the Vanguard UTR Tour

Match Play & Tournaments for Junior Players

Vanguard Tennis Academy is excited to officially launch the Vanguard UTR Tour — a structured series of UTR-verified match play sessions and tournaments designed to help junior players gain real competitive experience in a supportive, high-performance environment.

The Vanguard UTR Tour is open to all junior players across the Pacific Northwest (PNW), including athletes from British Columbia, Washington, and surrounding regions. Participation is not limited to Vanguard athletes — players from all clubs and academies are welcome.

What Is the Vanguard UTR Tour?

The Vanguard UTR Tour focuses on meaningful match play, proper scoring formats, and player development through competition. Events are organized by age group and level to ensure fair, competitive matches that support long-term growth.

Players will learn how to:

• Compete under true match conditions

• Apply technical and tactical skills in real play

• Develop match routines, confidence, and mental toughness

• Accumulate verified Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) results

  
  

Event Structure

The Vanguard UTR Tour includes:

• UTR Match Play Events

• One-day and weekend UTR Tournaments

• Age groups: U9, U10, U12, U14, U16 & U18

All matches follow UTR guidelines and are submitted for official rating verification.

Who Can Participate?

✔ Open to all junior players

✔ Open to players across the Pacific Northwest (PNW)

✔ Vanguard and non-Vanguard athletes welcome

✔ Players new to UTR encouraged to participate
