Curtis is a certified club pro 1 tennis coach with over 8 years of experience.  He is a former top junior player here in BC, competing in tournaments in Montreal and across the US. 

 

Curtis went on to earn a double-degree in Cognitive Science and Computer Science at McGill University, where he was one of the top player's on the tennis team.  He later completed a Master's degree in Barcelona Spain, and recently completed a training block at the Rafael Nadal academy in Mallorca. 

 

Curtis brings his competitive background and analytical mind into his lessons, helping students develop their technical and tactical game.  He has coached players of all ages and abilities, from beginners to top competitors, and prides himself on his ability to adapt his teaching style to maximize each student's progress.  He considers himself an expert on the mechanics of tennis technique, and in the ability to detect and correct small technical issues that can make a big difference to a player's game.
