Carl Pack

Head Coach – Play & Stay Department

With over a decade of professional tennis coaching experience across the United States and Canada, Carl has developed players from their very first swing to high-performance tournament competitors. From Birmingham to Vancouver, his passion for the sport and dedication to player development shine through in every lesson, tournament, and training session.

At ACE Alabama Court Elite, Carl specialized in 10-and-under, junior, and adult player development. He coached group and private lessons, coordinated logistics for Future-level tournament events, and supported young athletes with match strategy, on-site guidance, and tournament prep. His role extended beyond the courts as he oversaw pro shop operations and maintained both soft and hard court surfaces—demonstrating versatility and leadership in all aspects of the game.

Carl also worked with the Vancouver International Tennis Academy, where he helped develop recreational and high-performance players. He designed and led programs across age levels—including Red, Orange, Green, Regular Ball and adult clinics—while offering tailored lessons to beginners through competitive-level athletes.

His certifications include USPTA Professional (2012) and Tennis Instructor Certification (2018, Vancouver). Carl is also academically grounded, having earned his High School Diploma from Ensley High School in 1984, followed by studies at Alabama State University from 1984 to 1986 in Montgomery, AL. This foundation has complemented his deep practical experience and coaching insight.

Trained in advanced racquet stringing techniques and gear selection, Carl ensures his athletes perform at their best with equipment suited to their style and skill level. He brings unmatched energy, tactical insight, and a nurturing approach to the court—equipping every player with tools to succeed and a love for the game that lasts a lifetime.
